The youngest of my bunch is just about finished with Kindergarten. Every day he comes home with things for me to ooh and aah over that he has completed at school. On Wednesdays the class has “technology” which basically consists of becoming familiar with the computer and using the keyboard. On these days, he comes home with a printout that he has typed. The zoo field trip is coming up so he wrote about zoo animals. Lovely.
So without further adieu…..this is what he brought home to Mama last week:
That’s right. The bear is brown, friendly, free and Whaaaat???
So I asked what him to read it to me, and sure enough, he meant it. “The bear is @#*@, Mommy.” So I dared to ask what he meant by the word and he answers “Don’t you know what @#*@ is? The bear was tired so he was relaxing and snuggly and @#*@.” He says this as he acts out the meaning by resting his cute little head on his pudgy little hands to imitate snuggling. “Oooooh, Comfy!” I say.
Wishing you all a snuggly and comfy night!
Awww…that is too cute! Cunty, comfy, same thing!! 🙂
🙂
Umm…that’s what he said.
I saw a very similar word from my kindergartener last year….she meant COUNT. I wonder what grades they will be in when they realize what their innocent errors were…
Hehe, let’s hope they NEVER use that ugly word. I’d bet about junior high years.
OMG… Hilarious. When the kids made these for me, I would write down the “translation” on the back. It’ll come in handy if you save it and in a couple years you re-read it. I don’t think that “Comfy” will pop in your mind. 😉
Great idea! I’m going to do that right away as well as the date. Thanks!
