Orland Park Mom was invited to a VIP Sneak Preview of the brand spankin’ new Ross Dress For Less tonight.  Of course I accepted and was excited to see what all the buzz was about.  I was told I could bring  guest, so of course I asked Orland Park Dad to tag along so that he too could partake in the festivities…that and I needed a cart concierge.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never been to one of their stores.  Ross Dress For Less has the right idea.  Great items at extremely slashed prices are going to give similar retail establishments a run for their money.  The hubster immediately found a pair of  boots that would have easily cost $150 elsewhere for $39.  I picked up a couple of shirts, a scarf and some socks for the kids and we didn’t surpass $100 at the register.

Brittany Mohr, PR person extraordinaire, helped make us all feel welcome and the evening run smoothly.  As if first dibs on great designer items weren’t enough, there was a dj providing some great background music and friendly servers with platters of tasty hors d’oeuvres  circulating through the store.  Shopping, music and food…this OP mama was a happy camper.  The company was kind enough to provide us with Ross swag bags that included a flash drive and a gift card for each attendee.  Bonus!
