Thrills of Frugality via the Internet

You know that feeling, that rush you get when you get a really great deal on something?  Well I believe I have an addiction to that.  The feeling, that is.

Now, I am not one of those “super-couponers” who have well-organized coupon organizers and 5 Sunday papers delivered to their door.  I am not that disciplined.  I have to admit that I am envious of the Facebook pictures that feature 25 boxes of Cheerios, a dozen bottles of juice and 5 bulk packs of toilet paper for a mere $2.32.  That just amazes me.  Not envious enough to put all of those hours into all of that organization though.

I am more of the internet deal-seeking kind.  I have my websites that I check out on a daily basis that do the work for me.  They find great deals and I take advantage of them.  Here are a few of my favorite sites:

Slickdeals This site has really great deals on clothing, video games/electronics and kitchen stuff among other things.  Be sure to check the sidebar on the right for Hot topics (where you find some really great “today only” deals) and local deals based on your city or zip code.

Frugal Girls This is a blog that I find a lot of my free ebooks and other little freebies as well.  They are also a good place for people like me who do not cut coupons to get links to coupons to print, should you be so inclined to do so.  A bonus is that the post are short, sweet and fun to read.

Woot  This site is one of those one-deal-one-day sites that usually come up with some really great deals.  You have to act fast because the good ones sell out quickly.

Amazon has some really good deals and they also have a “daily deal” or Gold Box deal here.

So who knows what I will find today, maybe a stackable 75% off with free shipping on something I really need?  A pair of $200 jeans for $20?

Doubtful, but a girl can dream, can’t she?

Great post. Oh, and let me know when you find $200 jeans for $20….If they are guaranteed to make my butt smaller and higher, I’ll even pay full price.
